Just another day, but not really

Today had it’s ups and downs. On one hand, my oldest was a handful, she just did not want to nap, and she really needs to. She ended up spending the afternoon in bed since she refused to nap.
On the other my toddler played beautifully by herself outside, climbing the ladder to the playhouse (sometimes [… Read More]

Imagination

.
I have no idea what game they’re playing. Something that involved the removed booster seat, felt noodles, and sitting in the early spring sunshine. Don’t mind the mop and cleaner. Sometimes you just have to get that special picture, regardless of what’s in the background. They look aglow don’t they? So very very blessed.

I insist she takes a nap (that she needs) every day or she misses activities. Mean. She can’t have 12 toys, paint, and [… Read More]

Talk about it Tuesday: Raising 2 kids

We’re entering a new phase in adjusting to having 2 children. It’s called ‘who started it’… at this point, it’s kind of hard to tell. All the sudden, they’re both screaming joyfully at the top of their lungs and the adults are looking at each other thinking: what have we done?!?.. and do they REALLY [… Read More]
