My parents visited Friday night, so Saturday morning was a sleek send off for Matt and Keeley, who went to the auto show. After cuddling Brennan and having breakfast, my parents left, leaving me in the (relative) quiet while Brennan napped. It was SO awesome! Other than wanting to be held, Brennan behaved nicely, and … [Read more…]
We spent Friday night playing trivia for K’s ‘after school’ program. It’s their annual fundraiser, and pays for all the incidentals of the program. Apparently they were used to having around 20-40 kids and this year they had 60, so I’m really glad to say that they had their highest turnout and $ raised for … [Read more…]
Quickly put together for a snack the other day. Hopefully one day the little things will be appreciated. Right now I dont’ get much thanks. A smile from Brennan, and that’s about it. I realize that I’ve gotten exceptionally good at ignoring my baby crying (in stores, etc) so much so that I begin to feel self conscious about it. People look at you funny if you don’t try and shush your baby all the time, ever notice? I knew what was wrong with her though, and I … [Read more…]
Matt is leaving on a jet plane (strangely we always sing that song to each other before he leaves)… tomorrow. That means 5 nights by myself with both girls. Oy! I’m always paranoid that something will happen to his plane and I’m so relieved when it hits the ground. A lot of times I watch … [Read more…]
As you can tell from the photo we stop what we are doing when a good song comes on the radio, and we just dance. Dishwasher half unloaded, doesn’t matter, it’s time for a dance and that’s that. This was our first ‘feet on feet’ dance.. usually she gets picked up and whirled around. If … [Read more…]
