This week, we had been on the road. Little miss was throwing a huge fit. She didn’t want to go home. Until I remembered. The pajamas. Some time ago we had taken a trip and put a pair of pajamas in the car. We left them there, so she hadn’t worn them in quite some time. Tinker bell. Anyway, over the screaming and crying and ‘I don’t wannnnnt to’, I simply reminded her of the pajamas and asked if she wanted to put them on when we got home. Sure enough, she quieted down, said yes through her tears, and went to bed nicely.
Can I get a fist pump? YES!!!
Whoo hoo! Sometimes it’s the simplest things, isn’t it?
I didn’t really get to play this week. It’s been a crazy and frustrating week and the fact that I didn’t kill or even maim a little is a huge accomplishment. I love my job, but sometimes it really does make me a little nuts.
