Today’s NABLOPOMO question:
When you were a kid, did you want to have the same job or a different job than your parents when you grew up?
I definitely had ideas about being a stay at home mom when I was a small child. As I got older, I wanted to do that and work before and after, but not during. I loved it when we had fresh cookies when we got home from school or fresh bread smell to come into, just AWESOME! I wanted that home cooked feeling for my own kids.
Turns out I never ended up with the career I wanted on the top side of the equation, we’ll see what the flip side holds, but for now– I’m in it for the long haul. I may be old enough to retire by the time my kids are done with school!
