I’m playing along with NABLOPOMO again this year, although I doubt I’ll get to post every day, I figured as a way to kill some time in between waiting for baby to arrive I’d post on the topic now and again. They seem to focus on ‘being a kid’ and that suits me well enough. Today’s topic is:

What was the one toy that a friend had that you wished you had when you were little?
I don’t know about being jealous of anything my friends had, but my brothers had Atari and Nintendo and I rarely got a chance to play, they were very protective of their games. Probably why I’m not much of a gamer of any sort today, I never had any practice. One thing I did get to play a little bit was both Tetris and a 3D Tetris game on computer.
I’m positive it has served 2 very important tasks:
- Teaching me how to load a dishwasher for maximum efficiency and
- Teaching me how to stack a cart full of bags of groceries to get it all out the door in one trip.
