Hi from my room… ah hem, I mean womb! Mom found out last week that I’m head down and have hair. Otherwise, I wouldn’t face the technician at all to get a good snapshot. I’ve heard that they’re going to try and measure me this week to see how big I am. Have you SEEN my mom? Check her out… this is last week, I’m now at 36 wk 4 days.
Everyone says I’m dropping, whatever that means. Mom just smiles and goes on about life. Because if she doesn’t smile, she hears how miserable she looks. Just what she wants to hear… I’m totally rolling my eyes for her at this point. Ditto with the ‘do you know what you’re having’.. I’m a BABY. What’s so hard about that?
I’m taking every opportunity of course to attempt to slow her down, poking her at inopportune moments so she needs to pee (my fav!) and then making sure every joint she owns stiffens up at that exact moment so she’s ‘saddle sore’ waddling to the bathroom. Baby High Five!
All the strange voices around me are interesting. They’re all high pitched and sometimes I can feel mom sigh REALLY heavily before she asks for quiet. As long as she’s moving, I’m cool though, so the more voices she has to get up and down to quiet, the better for me. Then again, I love the shoving and poking thing, so when she does sit, I really enjoy that, too. It’s getting kind of cramped in here, so the more I shove, the more she ends up stretching and moving around. She’s done a lot of that lately, trying to get things done is all she says. I think that may be all she is capable of saying at this point.
Those high pitched voices tend to get the giggles whenever she’s occupied, I like listening to that and whatever they’re doing, sounds like something I want to get in on. Mom keeps saying ‘it’s not your month’ whatever that means. How long is a month anyway? When will it be my month? When will she be done with ‘things’?
My womb room seems to bet pressed on a lot with a book or computer. I gather that those are important as she tells me not to shove on them. Can’t wait to find out what that’s all about. Dad’s voice is heard more often, once a week when they try and take pictures he’s around for longer that day. Everyone seems to be a bit calmer on those days. I hear less of the high pitched voices, maybe that has something to do with it. Anyway, just hanging in here (literally). Shove ya later!

Well, I think you look wonderful. Can’t wait to see the newest addition.

After typing that, I realized one could look at it and go, ‘what a maroon, doesn’t she mean “edition”?’
But no, I mean addition, as in addition to your family. But edition would work too, since editions 1, 2 and 3 have all been amazingly different.
Except for gender, my two were very similar.
