We’ve had boys names picked out for ages. No problem there. But we’ve named THREE girls already! The first names are fairly easy, although we want to find something that fits with the others, we still have quite a few options open, it’s the middle name that is SO hard. First of all, the kids names follow a pattern. So as it turns out they all have 2 syllable Irish surname first names. Still plenty of those around, but the issue is that their middle names have been of the French/Romance language era: Josephine, Marie, Noel. Fairly classic compared to their given names. So now we need to find something unique that fits that pattern in case we have another girl….
At this point I’m yelling things out loud in my head so I can see how it would sound whisper-shouted across the library or up the stairs. Great way to pick a name don’t you think?
Help!

Colleen, Irene, Eileen, Jillian (maybe too much like yours though), Meghan, Maggie (my niece’s name, which is NOT short for Margaret), Fiona, Kaitlin, Kathleen…
I was nearly a Fiona, but my mother vetoed that. She now wishes she hadn’t.
