We took a week long sick and Easter break (I was sick) and the kids spent time with family, as well. Their only official schooling from that week came in the form of videos that I’ll list below. Having too much freedom seemed to wear on their nerves (and each other’s nerves, as well). So we were back to it the 2nd week continuing to morph from nutrition into plants and gardening. Having looked at some beans and sorting them and checking out other seeds as well, they were ready to move on to some books, videos and discussions about gardening and plants.

Math:
Math Fun by Aboff/Shaskan (I read the first 2 entries +-which we had read last week as a review, plus the x and /entries which we did not have the additional books) and the 6 year old followed this book along with the rest of the books in the series: If you were a set; If you were a fraction; If you were an Odd Number; If you were an Even Number. These were GREAT books! Very simple explanation of each math term, with plenty of high color examples.
