I think the lack of sleep and stress is getting to me. Twice now I’ve referred to someone I’ve known for 4 years by a different name. Also my fly keeps either not getting buttoned, or keeps coming down. I’ve lost a few pounds, so maybe it’s unzipping itself? More than one pair of pants and just recently. Early Alzheimer’s or exhaustion? Either way, not good for trying to mix with people.

There is one person I know who I have always called by the wrong name. I have no idea why this is, except maybe they look more like they have the name I do call them than the name they actually have. You know how sometimes people look like a name?
Anyway I apologised and covered for it by telling her I used to work with someone who looked exactly like her who had that same name, and I made myself stop and think before I used a name for her, and eventually I managed to convince myself this was her name. 🙂
