I’m participating in NABLOPOMO again this November, which means I’ll be posting once a day throughout November. I’ve done this for a number of years and still enjoy the challenge. They email out prompts and this was for today: Where is the one place you would never want to go on vacation that other people seem to love?
I’m kind of a homebody, anyway. Once we started having kids, it got harder and harder to take them places anyway. I’m certain there’s lots of place that other people are fabulous that I would never want to go see. For me, the one that sticks out the most right now is ‘insert National park here’… I have no interest in the Grand Canyon. Yes, I’m sure it would be interesting, but…. in the end it’s just a giant hole in the ground. The Redwoods are just trees, giant statues are just metal or wood. I’m happy enough with pictures.
What about you?

Good for you, doing the blog challenge. For me, doing anything consistently for more than a couple of days is a huge challenge at the moment – work is CRAZY.
Where do I NOT want to go? MEXICO, the Bahamas, the Virgin Islands, anywhere on a cruise, the Mid-East, most of Africa, Thailand, China… For me, those places are just as good with pictures. Any place that is “resort-y”. And Las Vegas. Been there, done that, not interested in a repeat.
