Freaking adorable. This is a very trim diaper. The price point is a bit over average for a newborn diaper. This is another one that would be a ‘spend’ if you’re just starting out, prefer all in one diapers, and want something just as easy as as disposable. It should fit until OS diapers will fit and it would be good for diaper bags and overnights when you need something really easy. There used to be sized aio’s like this and I’ll review them as well-that’s why I was anxious to see how long the newborn fit. It has a sewn in microfiber soaker that you can’t really ‘change out’ and it takes one cycle to dry in the dryer. It’s so trim you really can’t ‘add’ anything to it and has no pocket or slot on it either. It really is just one piece. Great for people who are skittish about cloth, buy this for them and they may get hooked!
This diaper will last through multiple babies and have good resale value, but it just BARELY made it to 12 lbs. and leaked for us toward the end. Remember, we have a heavy wetter–and a very large baby, so we got less than 10 weeks of use out of it. I would highly suggest finding these gently used, or as a second quality diaper, this one is a 2nd and I couldn’t tell why. I’m passing it down to my cousin who is having a girl this summer. I did note a tiny bit of staining, which I am currently sunning out! If we get pregnant again, I will be on high alert for 2nds. Since we ordered it later when the sale hit, it was only used about 20 times, but the lower cost drops the per change rate of ACTUAL use to about $0.37 per use because of the discount. ‘Normal’ usage and pricing follows:
$14.95 or approximately 30 wearings on a VERY large newborn who gains weight very quickly (1/2 lb per week) ~ $0.50 per change
If baby wears for 12 weeks ~ $0.41 per change
If baby wears for 14 weeks ~ $0.35 per change
Compared to a disposable at around $0.25-$0 .30 per change, not able to be re-used.
Disclosure: As always, this is my blog and I tell you the truth. My humble way of saying, the opinions are my own, and may differ from yours, so use your best judgement in every purchase decision you make–wise in these economic times, right?I purchased this diaper myself, just so my readers could get a thorough review.
I was not compensated in any way except by extreme cuteness of newborn fluff.

I’m really curious about how these will work for us. My son was almost 10 pounds, but my daughter is supposed to be smaller, apparently. I’ve heard the fit and absorbency isn’t that great with these, but I may get 1 or 2 more on Black Friday if there’s a good sale because I know my husband/parents will appreciate the ease of AIOs.
