So it turns out that I have a LOT a LOT of favorite birds–but only a few pictures of them. These little critters always herald spring, and their bright eyes and unique hopping make me smile.
I always feel a little thrill when the hordes of robins stop by on their way north! They don’t hang out here much during the summer, but I’ve seen whole yards covered with them during migration!
A robin has built a nest over the breezeway between the cafeteria and the hallway we cross to when we need to use the restroom or wash hands. I don’t know if it is the same one who built there last year or not, but we’re looking forward to baby birds. 🙂
