Some time ago, the founders of bumGenius diapers announced a ‘share the love’ program where people could donate diapers to be used across the US by people in need of diapers that could not afford them. While I thought briefly about hosting a site, I am so close to the center of it that it would seem silly. I’ve been meaning to comb through what I have anyway, and I had time the other day (thanks to a surprise drop off babysitter) to go through some things. So I packaged the above to send off. I do have QUITE a bit more I could do, so another box may be in the offing when I can spare the time to sort some more and make some decisions. The newborn sized things (and little additions) were fairly easy to comb through. I’m left with about 1/2 the ‘stash’ I had before, but I can easily add things in as needed and move things around with what I currently use and still have plenty…I’m hoping this posts after my ‘invisible friend’ aka internet friend has it arrive on her doorstep. It’s more as a reminder to me than a brag, so hopefully it doesn’t come off that way. I do want to note things for myself in the future, though, and I have found that taking pictures helps me to remember what the newborn sleeplessness flits away…
What a neat program
You’re a good person! I have a hard time letting things go, thinking “what if I need them some day?!”. You’re a good example!
