A peek at the week….inside my womb:
Fruit/Veggie Comparison: Weighs as much as a head of cauliflower ~ 2 lbs
Shape: out there
Food: It’s becoming necessary to eat more. I don’t particularly like that but it is. I eat what I think should be a reasonable portion, and then have to go back and double it. Yikes.
Least favorite thing: I had that horrible shoving down sensation the other day. To the point where I taught my oldest how to use my cell phone to call daddy. It was bad.
Most favorite thing: Slowly getting the house ready for the baby.
Mental state: I’m getting to the point where I actually feel pregnant. Sometimes I forget, and go to do something and think, wow, that’s hard.. and then realize why. Since we’ve painted the house and done a few other things, I feel like mentally I’m getting there. No denial, not a lot of excess anxiety, just ready to go one step at a time until we get there…
– Washed the newborn outfits and put them with the suitcase and car seat.
-Started packing my suitcase.
-Sorted through the diapers, and washed all the smalls and mediums.
-Packed the mediums in with the 3+ month clothes I had found and washed so far.
-JUST NOW! Packed the diaper bag with prefolds, flats, covers, AIOs and a couple of fitteds. I even pre-folded the flats. Wetbags, wipes, check!
–Kind of related, but unrelated, while doing this, decided to get my tush in gear and donate some diapers, figuring if we run short, I’ll buy more. Some people don’t have that option. I’m running all my microfiber through with RLR as we speak. Whatever pockets I send I’ll pair with microfiber-better than it sitting there unused.
-Mattress is back in the crib and it’s moved back into position. Changing table back out of the closet and set up.
-Random things ready to be donated to our community free yard sale. I’m wanting to gut every room and get all the JUNK out. Either donate, trash, or put it where it belongs. Don’t just leave it sitting there. Same with pictures that need hung, etc. Let’s just do it and be done, now that it’s painted, right?!?
You get more done as a hugely pregnant lady than I do! You are much more organized than I ever was.
