I wanted to show a bloom, since they were so huge this morning, but they’ve faded in the sun. Was surprised to see the pumpkin attached to it though! It’s really boomed–I didn’t even see it the other day and look at it now!

Awesome! I transplanted a seedling from the compost and it ended up being a sugar/pie pumpkin. I’ve gotten one so far and one more is growing. It is very exciting to see the little buds with the blooms.
So much fun to grow pumpkins. Your girls will love to watch them grow and then have for Halloween
This is so cool! I have failed time and time again at growing vegetables, but what an incredible sense of accomplishment you will get looking out and seeing huge watermelons! Maybe someday I will live out in the country and grow a big garden.
