A peek at the week….inside my womb:
Fruit/Veggie Comparison: Baby is the size of an heirloom tomato.
Shape: Pregnant with a side of ‘oh you wanted to reach THAT? no no no! your belly is in the way!’
Food: My older kids steal from the outside, the baby steals from the inside. I’m often left with a mostly empty plate. Thank God for hiding in the kitchen eating candy. I know, shut up.
Least favorite thing: The last few days I’ve felt like maybe I had a UTI or something. I went and got tested and nothing showed up. Lucky me, they’re going to culture my pee to be sure.
Most favorite thing: Itty bitty baby pokes. Also, I got a lot of sympathetic ‘we’ve been there’ looks when I went in to get my urine test. I guess I really look pregnant, huh? Waddle waddle.
Mental state: Disbelief/hope/massive anxiety–with every flutter the disbelief gets less.
Preparation: Am I supposed to be doing anything? Oh I know. To support another mom who has a baby in the hospital (and to promote my blog here) I made a cloth diaper order. I’ll give away 2 of the diapers at least and the other 2 will stay for baby #3 here! So that’s preparation, right? Oh and this little custom made diaper, too.

Cute! Yay for baby in December! Love the “shut up” about candy. Lol

I can totally relate to hiding in the kitchen to eat food! We’ve been doing baby led weaning/solids with our 8 month old, and if I’m eating something, he wants it. So I’ve resorted to eating where he can’t see me if I don’t want to share. God bless you during your time of pregnancy! We’re hoping to have another little one soon!
