When reviewing a couple of smaller sized flats, I noticed that pad folding them did not leave them wide enough to provide adequate coverage in a standard pocket diaper. It left noticeable (and leak prone) gaps. So I had to get creative and fold the diaper to both add more absorption (for overnight and naps) and also to provide that ‘wide’ stance to stuff into a diaper to avoid leaks. Shown below is a Geffen Baby Hemp Jersey Flat but any smaller size flat will also work with this method. This leaves four (4) layers in the wet zone and eight (8) layers at the front and back.
