The pad fold works great inside covers or stuffed inside a pocket diaper! If you’ve folded a towel, you’re already 99.9% of the way there. If not, then follow this quick tutorial and you’re all set. You start with a large flat diaper, flat on your work surface, and fold it in half.

Then, fold it in half the other way. Now you have a smaller square!

Lastly, fold the square into thirds to make a ‘pad’ that lays easily into a cover or slides into a pocket diaper. Done! See, told you it was easy!

This is definitely prefer this fold over any of the others, no pins or snappis to deal with! 🙂
If I were going to use prefolds, I would use this folding method.
