When my son was this age, I was afraid to take him out of the house for fear of being accused of abusing him. We literally padded the entire house and he found the ONE surface we didn’t pad because it was only an inch off the floor (bottom shelf of our bookcase). Guess what? He fell on it and split his forehead open – just in time for the Christmas family portrait. Thankfully, they do outgrow this phase!!!
