Last week was an utter fail as far as menu planning went. Between activities, doctor’s appointments, and trips to the store to pick up ‘just one thing’, we ended up with a handful of days where we didn’t eat what we were supposed to. The weather did not help! *sigh* Ah well, the good thing is, it’s a new week, time to start over! This should be a fairly ‘kid friendly’ week. I should note in case anyone wonders that my kids do eat fruit and veggies at other times, although with a little one teething (and not chewing basically) it has become a huge challenge to provide things that won’t cause a massive case of sensitive tushie! I stand and look in the fridge and pantry and think ‘ummm’ because I cannot find anything she won’t just swallow and actually avoid geting any nutrients. Basically it’s a lot of yogurt, applesauce, crackers, and whatever else I can drum up and cut into weensie little bites. For teeth that hurry up, I will beg at this point. I’m not in any hurry for my baby to grow up, but that is a right pain in the keister, for EVERYONE.
