I kind of wonder if I hit the wrong tone with last night’s post. Yes, it drives me crazy to be treated like I’m an imbecile when it comes to social interaction (and despite a degree in psychology, the only thing I can figure is that I’m still considered the ‘baby’ even though I’ve been married for a decade)… and of course, the talk always turns political. It used to be that we just talked about the kids and such, but the last election cycle and the SHES shooting have really turned the tables for everyone else that gets together. What might have been 10% political discussion and 90% everything else has become 90% political and 10% everything else. *sigh* I do love getting together with my family and for the most part, don’t have any issues with it, despite our differences.

Blah. So sorry Jill. It’s sad when you don’t relate to your family. I don’t either. And I don’t relate to my inlaws either!
