Last year was really warm in December. This year seems to be fairly warm so far as well. The fall was kind of rainy and colder, and not really productive for picture taking, but last Saturday was perfect. We had the girls out right after breakfast, taking pictures, letting them explore the leaves and dirt, and even getting a bit damp, as we’ve had some heavy dews as well. Within an hour or two, I’d taken my jacket off and was pushing the little one on the swing in a tshirt. Occasionally I’d have to put my jacket back on as the wind came up, and I left her covered, but it was a glorious morning. My husband loves the snow, but this is okay with me. More ‘good’ days to play outside!

As much as I hate to say this, I really hope we get some decent rain and snow this winter. Last year it was so dry. As a result, we were under water restrictions for the entire summer. In fact, we still are.
