Etta from http://www.cheerfulhomemaker.com/ has an adorable little boy named Gene who loves to dance and is a very active little bit of sunshine. She asked for ‘Monday Mommies’ to post on her blog on Mondays. I happily volunteered and whipped up a post in the middle of the night when I had insomnia. Awesome. She’s also got a giveaway going on for Rachel Beth’s cloth creations for a homemade fleece diaper cover. While it’s intention is to go over cloth diapers, it could be used under a dress as well, to cover up a disposable and add a cute ‘peek’ out of blue jeans for boys! Added bonus? Since it’s made to soak up liquid, it will be like an extra barrier for a disposable, ya know? I’ve used fleece pants to cover up a prefold before when trying to allow some breathing space for a red rear end (not mine! ha!) and they had to be changed pretty often, but dried out quickly and I was able to rotate them enough to get a rash gone in a flash!
