Somehow, even in the vast internet world, I hang onto the fringes. Only a few people read, and even fewer comment. I feel like in the last couple of years, my circle has gotten even smaller. Fewer friends, less interaction, and so called ‘peers’ seem to have all but disappeared. Everyone reads the ‘top 10’ blogs and forgets schmoes like me. So if you’re reading, even if you don’t normally comment, go ahead and do it today. Let me know you’re reading. Let me know what you’re interested in. I’ve seen several bloggers make this call, a few people comment and then they have a mass of happy readers that share and share until they have a really good base to draw from. Like being popular, right? I was never much for being popular, but being noticed is definitely appreciated. So speak up. What do you like. Does anything bore you? Is there anything I used to write about that you miss? Anything you’d like to see? This is my microphone, giving a shout out to the folks who like country living, cute kids, and sarcasm…

Hey! I am here. 😉 I have become the worst commenter, though! I can relate. So many days I feel like I’m talking to myself and the posts I care the most about go unnoticed. Maybe we could try something fun and guest post on each other’s blogs or interfered iew each other to reach different audiences.

I’m here, too… I like just reading whatever comes to your mind on any given day – kids, garden, frustrations, craftiness, plans and dreams – it’s all good….
Kelsey
I’m always reading – I rarely comment on many blogs these days – I just don’t seem to find the time. I’m barely finding time to update mine.
Nothing particular I’m looking for here – just interesting to read other people’s journeys as mothers (and just as people).

Actually, this is the first time I’ve visited your blog. I saw the blog name on someone else’s site and just had to click, because it’s such a great one.

Sadly, I just don’t get on very often anymore – and like many people, I only read in Google Reader. I don’t always comment unless inspired to. I don’t have the time anymore either – it’s become a luxury to comment when life rears its ugly head.

Well, you already know I’m reading. Hell, I know where you live since I mailed you a package about a year ago or so.
I think you need to just keep writing, because you WILL look back at the posts you’ve written during this time in your life and in the lives of your children and be very glad you did. I wish I had. Of course there were no home computers when my son was small and the one we had when Lyssa was small has gone to the electronic graveyard and I didn’t write much about the kids anyway.
Longhand? PTUI!!
You need to write for yourself. Either people will read or they won’t… not your problem.
(((hugs)))

I’m here – though my attendance in blogland has been somewhat sporadic lately. My mom’s been in and out of the hospital and rehab and I’ve been spending a lot of time with her there. Witness the neglect my own blog has been suffering!!! She’s home now and on the mend, so I hope that I’ll have more time at home myself to read and write.
I suppose you need to look at why you’re blogging in the first place. I would continue to blog even if no one ever read it because it’s for my son. A record of life here as he grows up so he’ll have some reference point. Being older parents, by the time he’s ready to talk about his childhood and our past, we might not be here. This is for him – so he knows who I was, what I thought about, and what living in our family was like (because, weirdly, those things disappear from memory sometimes).
I love your crafty stuff and your house and garden stuff. I like the kid updates (can’t believe how fast B is growing… makes K look like she’s standing still!).

I’m still here too. Just usually don’t have time to comment. I like everything that you write. Don’t go changin’ on me 😉

I know how that is! Makes you wonder if you’re reaching anyone or just “talking” to yourself. 🙂
Roger
I am present, and I am with Jessi – trying to find the time to comment is tough. Heck lately, for me, finding time to write is tough. I do enjoy your blog and do read every entry. I will try to comment more in the future. 🙂

I check in about once a week and read all the new stuff. I frequently don’t comment because I am “with” you frequently during the day on FB and comment lots on there. And when I DO comment, I tend to get long winded, so sometimes I just can’t start, because there isn’t enough time in the day for all of my words 🙂

I read! Sometimes it takes a while before I get to it, but I am here!
