Fun Monday: Run Around

http://www.ascreedintime.com/ is hosting Fun Monday for May, too! I’m a bit late, but his topic is: let’s us discuss what kind of plans we have for the summer season. With the economy, and gas prices being what they are, will you be traveling during the summer months or staying close to home?

This is a tricky one. There are the times we will go visit family, but that’s not really a vacation. Our ‘big plan’ was to have a babymoon. Like we didn’t get too with Keeley. However, circumstances that have forced my husband to take time off of work leave us with minimal options. His extended family wants him to come and visit up north as well, which dilutes it even further. I don’t think I’m going to get my babymoon after all. I’ll just have to be happy with my family and my wonderful new house and just be fat and happy and stay home this year!

  1. Congratulations on the new baby, Have a wonderful and hopefully restful time with family. Happy is always good at home or on a trip. Take care.

  2. Perhaps next year… You can get parents to come babysit and you and Matt can take off and do somethings just for yourselves. But traveling while pregnant and visiting family doesn’t sound like a vacation to me. Let Matt go off to see his family and you do what you can to relax!
