Weekends around here are called ‘daddy’s day’ — it’s something we look forward to every week, especially when the going gets rough on Thursday or Friday, a gentle reminder that daddy will be home all day on the weekends is enough to set us all to feeling better! Even when we don’t feel so hot:
Tired
or have an ouchie that needs kissed!
or when life is just SO overwhelming!
Mommy looks forward to daddy’s day, too. Because Keeley spends so much time with daddy, mommy gets a break now and again!
It was the opposite for us because my husband stayed home. He loved when I was there to take care of the kid so he could go ride his bike or go fishing. Everybody needs a break now and then!
