  1. I love the way you look at things from all angles, Jill. And you certainly understand how to get the most bang for your buck. Your gift ideas are so thoughtful as well–a small item, a little effort, creativity and love make for the best gifts!

  2. Great post ! I shop at consignment stores especially for ‘baby’ & ‘kid’ clothes. Amazing the deals that can be found there. Besides, the kids grow so fast, why spend full price for them to wear an outfit two or three times ?

  3. I love the way that you responded to this assignment balancing what you would spend money on with what you would not. My son and daughter-in-law will have their third child in June. With each baby, they have weighted the pros and cons cloth diapers versus disposable diapers. I am one not to spend a lot of money on clothes either. Many of my clothes are either hand-me-downs or hand-me-ups.

  4. Very thoughtful post! You have learned how to give the kind of gifts that are very meaninful. In today’s economy, I’m sure your husband is very grateful as well to have your expertise in making the dollar stretch. There is a great peace associated with not being in debt. Is it Outback that has the Bloomin’ Onion — worth every calorie!
