These guys usually show up to herald spring. So why in the middle of January? Can we hope for an early spring? I hope so! There were at least 1,000 of these guys. They were all out front, which consists of a hill, a mowed path, un-mowed ‘pasture’, the shed beyond these, and then onto the neighbors’ property, they have a slide and so forth. So any picture you see, just imagine trying to put that many more birds onto each of these areas. It was a bit spooky!

See the ones in flight? Yikes.

I have birds at my feeder that don’t normally arrive until mid-February….so I am thinking early spring too.
