You get bullets, sorry.
- My hubby and I have been getting along better. Good.
- My mom got through her procedure just fine and seems to be back to her old self. Better.
- Keeley is about where she was a week or so after Christmas with potty training. She still won’t tell me she has to go. Meh.
- We’ve had plenty of wildlife to watch out the windows. Coyote, fox, eagle, all other manner of birds. Cool.
- It’s still fricking freezing and our heat bill is sky high. Dammit.
- Matt changed the filter in the furnace (again) and that seems to have helped. Good.
- Being inside suits me fine but makes Keeley cranky. Yeah. Did I mention it was cold? Dammit.
- We’re still managing to do a lot of bonding with puzzles, blocks and so forth. Fun.
- Keeley’s now speaking in 5 or 6 word sentences. Half of them are descriptors. So she might say, Daddy glass water, Keeley’s blue glass moo (milk), mommy glass water. Then she’ll grin, all proud of herself. Cute.
- Tantrums. Really?
- I can’t wait for spring. You’re shocked, right?
- Most winters I’m fairly depressed. I think staying inside and only being slightly cold and not having to get out all the time to go to work and drive in it and so forth, helps. That and I’m too busy for much naval gazing. Sigh.
- I can’t wait for tax season. We have serially overpaid for the last few years and I think we’re going to start keeping more money out through the year and bypass the huge ‘payout’, although right now, it would be greatly appreciated. Greenbacks, yes please!
- I got new glasses in December if I didn’t mention it. I can see!
- I got my hair cut a couple of weeks ago. I don’t think the lady did a fabulous job. After about 3 days I asked my hubby to cut this one piece of hair that was 4 inches longer than the rest. I think she missed it somehow. It was weird. I don’t miss my hair, and I’m donating it whenever I can get out to the post office to pay for the postage to ship it off to Pantene. I’ll probably grow it out and donate it again. Everyone else seems to like my haircut (church, etc). If I comb it over in front like I used to when it was long, it looks okay. Meh.
- Matt’s been given a huge project at work. It’s one of those ‘level 3’ types and he’s still stuck at level 1. I’m sure his higher ups are trying to force a promotion since he will prove he can do the higher type of work, but I wish they’d do it already. It’s not just the money, it’s the principle of the thing. He deserves it. Proud.
- I got published again today at http://www.theclothdiaperwhisperer.com/2011/02/traveling-with-cloth-diapers.html Read it if you like! Kind of fun to contribute!
- I’m currently doing a raid of my closets. Anything that doesn’t fit is getting trashed or donated. I’m not a size 6 anymore, I may as well let someone else get use out of the clothes. Unfortunately, I don’t have a lot to replace them, so I guess once our credit cards are paid off, we’ll be shopping some to build the wardrobe back up.
- Keeley’s awake so I need to go!
