Mariposa’s last entry for Fun Monday in August to to talk about our favorite part of our house. You really want me to pick a FAVORITE part of my new house? It’s the part that’s NOT attached to anyone else’s house! YEAH!
Okay, so for 2 days now, the photo attacher refuses to work, so you’re going to have to deal without pictures. I love that we have a master bedroom with a bathroom again. No more worrying about waking up K with a flush or a morning shower. I also love that I have my own laundry room and pantry combo! I can stockpile a ton of food and keep dirty clothes out of the way! Our dining room is attached to our kitchen, and I have a huge countertop! 2 decks now go off of our house, so we can sit outside and watch Keeley play. Best of all is our upstairs, which is almost completely finished. It will allow for family expansion, or just getting our computers and craft stuff out of our living room! It also will allow for play areas and a guest room!
All in all, I love our whole house! Sure, a few things could be changed, but for now, we’re just happy to have a great place for our family to grow (up!)
I’m so glad that you love your house! I want to see pictures when you get your upstairs completely done. Maybe I’m nosy, but I love houses and decorating and seeing what people do to create living spaces for themselves.

I can completely understand how you can’t pick just one favorite part. It’d be like picking which kid is your favorite! I’m just so happy for you that you’re in your own place now and have lots of space all your own.
