So, do we dress Keeley up for Halloween? Also, is it annoying when your brother plans his huge blow out party that the family all goes to on your baby’s first birthday instead of any other Saturday in October? Just wondering. I think I’m more amused than anything else. We don’t know if we will be able to host a party here orĀ not, depends on if we will be packing up and moving. Maybe we should just have the party where the other party is and be done with it. That way, we’re the only ones that have to travel (like usual) and no one complains.

my take? He has the expense, and you got the little pumpkin~!

If you’re going to be there already – it might be nice to combine things and maybe less work for you!
Last year we just dressed Michael in a Halloween outfit (bought el cheapo from Old Navy) and he did not join his big sister for trick or treat. You can get Halloween t-shirts and onesies all over the place this time of year – might be a nice compromise instead of a full on costume.

Just tell him “Thanks for making this easier on us! We’ll bring the cake!” and if he doesn’t like it, he won’t do it next year.
Of course you dress Keeley up! And take lots of pictures. And put it on her whenever she sees anyone from now until Christmas. We bought Jacob a pumpkin outfit, and it fit Lauren, too, so I have pics of both kids in the same outfit. They were the cutest pumpkins ever! Especially with their round cheeks. However many kids we have, I want them to all wear the suit, or a different pumpkin suit, depending on when they are born, so I can have pictures someday of the cutest pumpkin patch ever!
