Having the stuffed animal in the photo was a good call – I didn’t realize how dramatic the difference was until I noticed it was the same horse in both photos! (Apparently I need coffee, stat.)
That is so fun. I can’t wait to see how little the horse is in 8 more months!
I always wanted to do something simliar with my kids (and scrapbook it) – but never did. (not even the Caboose – dang)

My real dad used to have pictures taken with his hand on my belly or next to me, with the theory that he’d always have his hand, so he’d always be able to tell what my size was in the pictures. It was a good idea. The horsey is a good idea, too. Amazing how much things change in a few months!

You’ll have to make sure the horse is always the bench mark for growing comparisons.
