Then again, I totally understood all of this when my friends had kids. So maybe the author of the letter really didnt ever babysit, or have kids around her when she was growing up, or something. But I did all those things so I understood when my friends didn’t have time for me. I still don’t think my husband understands all the time, but he’s learning. We all are.
You know, there are still lots of days when I get to bedtime and wonder where the time went. Sometimes even mothers don’t realize how all that time gets away. It was an interesting read – difficult for me to imagine how someone could be so self-centered or so lacking in experience not to realize how high maintenance kids are!
