Do you really need one of those fancy gyms for your baby to kick at and poke at? Why no! You simply lay your baby on a blanket on the floor and stick a toy between his/her legs and let her kick. Eventually she’ll figure out that it makes noise (most of them make at least 2) and kick away! Skip the gym and put a crib/carseat toy down. Save yourself something else to store when your baby grows out of it, and makes multiple uses out of the oodles of toys you have. Oh and be sure to rotate to ones that make different noise every few days, so the baby doesn’t get too bored with it.
Edit: Yes, my snotty husband is correct, he is the one that came up with putting it on her legs instead of her belly, where I was trying to teach her to GRASP with it. Thanks, dear!
