I tend to have these dreams that end up with me and my hubby in various states of undress and not able to score a touchdown so to speak. (Football season yet?) When I was on the pill, it was my brain’s way of reminding me I have obligations. (Off the pill, no issues with forgetting about that, dangit).. Now that I’m pregnant, it’s just like being on the pill, and I’m determined to find a non-hormonal method once the baby is here). Anyway, I havent had one of these dreams in quite some time. I had one last night. For the first time in a long time, I waited patiently for the alarm to go off and then attacked! Okay gently coerced him into having a romp. It was a bit awkward, but we made it work! Any suggestions for keeping my hips from hurting?

Is this the turnaround I’ve been waiting for? Maybe? Or just a fluke? Either way, I have a happy husband today! Yeah!

  1. Well, er. You’ve probably already considered trying different positions.

My hips hurt all the time with baby #2, and really didn’t stop hurting for quite a long time after delivery.

It’s just part of the fun of pregnancy. The baby is worth it.

As for birth control, I had my tubes tied because it was free (had met our insurance deductible for that year) and because I did not want to get pregnant again.

Before that, we used a diaphragm. It was sort of a pain in the ass, but it did work.

    No hormones.

  2. Oh my goodness! You’re pregnant?!? I have no idea what the rest of this post says because that one fact leapt out at me. I’ll go back and read the rest now, but CONGRATULATIONS!

I haven’t been getting around to all my blogs lately either. I try to at least check the blogs of those who have commented, but life seems to be moving fast at the moment. I’m so glad I came here after reading your comment. What wonderful news!
