I missed fun monday for the first time in forever today. I just don’t have the gumption to get through it after my first day back at work.
I’m an assistant’s assistant is basically how it seems. I’m doing a lot of unpacking and organization of supply cabinets, hanging up signs, putting dry erase markers in conference rooms, sorting stuff, etc etc. They just moved to a new office. I was on my feet a lot of the day and finally had to sit, cowboy boots are meant for walking or riding, not standing still sorting itty bitty pieces of paper.
It will all be worth it when my truck is paid off! Yeah!
Sigh!
The first day in a new job is always difficult. Fingers crossed it all works out OK!
This makes me feel thankful I’m retired!
Yeah, I’m trying to suck up as much of this vacation time as I can, because my first day at work is going to be a LONG one. I’m not quite ready for it yet.
