I always swear one day I’m going to get a video of my enormous belly moving. It’s so hard to catch, though. It’s as if I would need to eat an entire bucket of ice cream and then give a dozen people cameras just to catch one movement. Lately I’ve had what feels like being scratched? on the inside, not painful but maybe like baby was pushing hands and feet like a slide across my insides… and also as if it turned around and is just shoving my backbone, and the only thing I can feel (and see) is that my belly is completely lumped out.
Needless to say this only happens if I eat. Or if I try and lay down to sleep. Of course.
Taking advantage of this, I get semi comfortable in bed and then let my husband watch as the belly ripples. Last night he poked with his fingers a little bit and I paid for it DEARLY. Not only could he feel it under his hand, but he could see it beneath where his hand didn’t cover AND I got a shot to the bladder. Stop poking the baby, daddy!
All in good fun of course. Today has been a horrible junk food day. I could just not get full on lunch and kept munching through things. I wouldn’t be surprised if I gained a whole pound today. Ah well, tomorrow will be better, right?

I remember the sweetness of feeling the little one move, sharing it with my husband and also feeling like I’d be pregnant for the rest of my life. 🙂
Try to rest when you can. I’m guessing about 10 years from now you’ll be able to get a full night’s sleep.

Baby’s only 3 mo and I already miss being pregnant.

I’m expecting too and that has been one of the craziest parts to me! I think it’s crazy when she’s moving so much she completely distorts my belly… makes it look like one side is bigger! When she really starts jumping I find it so entertaining. Love to feel her move, makes me smile and know she’s doing good in there!

I know the feeling! I’m due in Oct with #2 and I love watching my belly ripple. The best are the hiccups!
