Ripples is a newsletter founded on the philosophy that our world is like a big pond. Everything we do, big or small, negative or positive, creates a ripple that goes out and touches whoever is all around the pond. It may seem kind of odd, but it’s a philosophy I think most of us can understand. If you’re interested in receiving a free weekly email (looks like below) with inspirational messages, click on the subscribe link at the bottom of the page. I’ve been receiving this for close to 10 years. I felt inspired to share this today, because I feel like the little things in life are so important. It may not put on a big fancy show to the rest of the world, but to you and the people close to you, the smallest things can make all the difference in the world.
It has long been an axiom of mine that the little things are infinitely more important. -Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
Everyone is tryingto accomplish something big, not realizing that life is made up of little things. -Frank Clark.
Every LITTLE THING counts, so right after you read this I want you to choose one little action that would help a friend, stranger, co-worker, classmate, or yourself and do it: offer a few minutes of your time, hold the door, smile, forgive someone, be more kind or more patient than necessary, etc. Do it, and notice just how big a difference that little thing makes.
