So of course this is for Guinness World record and I did this 2 years ago with my middle child ( I have blogged about this).. just wanted to show you the pictures I grabbed. There were people there really concerned about kids being seen online so I didn’t take any crowd shots. I saw a lot of bumGenius (like she had on to begin with) and another Moraki, a Rumparooz, a Thirsties, and lots of WAHM (work at home mom) types of diapers, too. Since there is a ‘bumGenius’ brand store in the town where we changed, there were a lot of ‘brand loyalists’ there. I like to dabble. I wished there had been a bigger venue with more natural places set up to visit with others, but once inside, we were all pretty crowded. There was a small ‘swag bag’ that included wipes, a dyed prefold diaper/burp rag, and some informational stuff, detergent sample and coupon type of things. There were a few prizes that went out, but we didn’t win. That’s fine. Also I bought a tshirt! When I realized what a deal they were, I snagged one. Now that I’m thinking about it, I realize that it’s the perfect color because it’s one of our ‘school colors’ so I can wear it to all future school functions and advertise cloth diapers! Woohoo! The Great Cloth Diaper change in our area was sponsored by a local diaper rental service. How awesome is this? I would definitely love a good deep cleaning on all my diapers! They offer that in addition to their rental services! I asked a couple of questions about getting diapers in the hospital, and they’d never done it (but how awesome would that be for me not to have to worry about washing diapers from the hospital if they could be dropped off and picked up, although I’m sure logistics would be weird on it.) I totally handed them my card and mentioned that I blog. Hey can’t hurt, right? It was great to meet someone ‘in the business’ of diapers.
